Mission Statement:
My mission is to provide a Montessori-aligned environment where I nurture the whole child. I start with a holistic approach, aiming to create a beautiful space that honors the unique path of each child and encourages the natural development in all areas of life so that children can thrive and explore their full potential.
My Philosophy:
I believe in trusting the child and their ability to grow, learn and engage meaningfully with our environment. Every child is different and develops at their own pace. I understand the benefits of strategies for developing positive reciprocal relationships.
About the Program!
Welcome to Dozier Day Nursery!
With over a decade of hands-on experience in early childhood education, my passion to teach continues. I've dedicated my time into the public school system and now I've created a home-away-from-home nursery school.
My program is for parents who value child-led learning. My curriculum has a high focus on playing outdoors in nature. We also love to learn through play inside of our beautiful classroom filled with, discovery, and creativity.

Schedule
My activities provide a sense of comfort and safety for children. Children desire routine for emotional stability. Knowing what will happen next allows them to adapt to a consistent schedule. Our classroom focuses on practical life skills that build confidence and independence. Sensorial activities include textures, colors, shapes and sounds. Language introduces phonics, storytelling, songs, writing and communication. Math is introduced concretely, then abstractly, making math concepts tangible and fun. Cultural studies teach us about science and the world around us. Our Art area encourage self-expression through drawing, painting and crafting.
