Daily Report Forms & Milestones
Our daily schedule will be consistent with daily activities while making contact, smiling, talking, and nursery rhymes. We read many books and introduce weekly sight words with the intent to prepare children for reading. Baby ASL is introduced with new words and tummy times are encouraged. Some babies may want to play for 5 minutes while others prefer longer. At Dozier Day Nursery, I like to follow a flexible self-demand schedule outside of our daily activities. Daily report forms are provided daily.
Communication and Language
Babies tend to be curious by nature and this curiosity is a great asset for them. By being curious, children get to learn about the world and the people that surround them. Babies learn language from their social interactions with others and they fulfill that ongoing search for information as they grow up.
Baby Sign Language-Baby Signing
Babies can learn to interpret and use signs. At Dozier Day Nursery babies learn signs. Research shows that signs are learned more easily than words. As a result, they communicate more effectively at an earlier age. Caregivers and parents understand them better, reducing frustration and stress.
